Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I had the great pleasure of working with Shawn at Bekins. He was a remarkable man with great work ethics and a fun sense of humor. Shawn will be greatly missed but will forever live in our memories.

Sincerely,
George Howsmon

I was saddened to hear, my heart and prayers go out to his family. Shawn was an extraordinary man. I had the pleasure of working with him at Bekins and on I knew it was Friday or an exceptionally good day when I heard the Bee Gee's playing in Shawn's office. Thinking of those good times of seeing him singing and rocking to the beat makes me smile to this day. It was an honor working with him.

So sorry for your loss. Shawn hired me at Bekins in June 1979, one day out of high school. I worked with him until 1985 when I left to have children. He hired me again in June 1989 and I worked with him until 1992. Shawn was a great boss & he was very dedicated to his family. Every Valentines day Mary would bring the kids into the office to visit Shawn. I remember when we were at 1202 Kettner Blvd in the original Bekins warehouse & the kids always wanted to go up to the top floor in the very...

Mary Virginia,
My heart aches to hear of the loss of your dear Shawn. I haven't seen you in a long time, but know what a loving husband, dad, & grandpa Shawn was. May your many memories get you through this difficult time. We send our deepest sympathy & prayers.

Mary and family,

Our heartfelt condolences and prayers are sent to you. I always loved the little gleam in Shawn's Irish eyes. His faith was an example of how to live an authentic, loving life.

Love,

Dale and Joylee

Shawn was a saintly Christian man and an amazing prayer group leader. He will be missed.

I was so sorry to her about Shawn. Mary, my heart goes out to you and the rest of your family. I will always remember him as one of the finest and kindest men I have ever known. I remember him sitting up with Bryan through the night when John had surgery. Easing my little boy's fears when I couldn't be there meant the world to me! He will live on in the memory of all the people whose lives he touched.

So sorry for your loss. Your family is in my prayers. I was good friends with Cecily at St. Marys and later in nursing school. I would love to get in touch with her. Could you give her my number? 619-479-1177 and [email protected]
