My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Skoon and I arrived in Charlotte from different directions to attend TWC training after both having transferred here and found we were from same hometown of Rochester. What a presence he cast, so much fun during that period.

To the Family and Friends of Schoon I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I will always remember the times that we shared together at TWC Rochester... And the story of the Turkeys will live on forever. May he Rest in Peace.

I do not think that there are enough words to say about Schoon. He brought laughter and smiles to everyone around him. And he always had an opinion and was never afraid to speak his mind. "Schoon" will be missed by many. My family's deepest Sympathies go out to the Schoonmaker family and all of his Friends.

To Shawn's family, I deeply sorry to hear of your loss. Shawn was a "one of a kind" person. He was more fun than anyone I have ever known. His zest for life was like no other. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace Schoon.

Shawn aka "The Bomber" was a great man. I can't help but think of the old days and all the fun times we had together. You will be truly miss and forever remembered. He was known as Schoon in our circle of friends. Always with a can do attitude even if meant a little mischief. He certainly would not take no for an answer. Schoon certainly knew how to have a good time. Rest in peace Shawn.
