Shawn Ray Shields

I am so sorry to hear this news about Shawn. He was in one of my math classes my very first year of teaching at Inverness Middle as well as the youth choir when I led it at FBC. He was a sweet young man who, it seems from his obituary, become a kind and loving grown man taken from you way too soon. I am praying for all of you.

I know grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and Shawn today and always. Shawn always had a ready smile for everyone. I’ll never forget when Shawn, you and the kids brought me and Petra some cookies on Christmas Day in Tupelo because we opened the center and worked.
