Not sure what to say?

As sad as it was, I just heard of Shawns passing today. I worked with Shawn at Big Rock Nuclear Plant in Charlevoix for a couple of years while he was going to college for nursing. I always look forward if he was working my shift for him to be my partner. Shawn would give me a stack of 3 x 5 quiz cards with words I didn't even understand and I would say the word and he would give me the correct spelling and definition of the word, which was a part of the body. We had a lot of good...

Shawn worked for me at CG Sta Charlevoix great and the Harborage Marina while attending nursing school. Liked by all, So Missed!!!

I met Shawn only 10 months ago when I started at Borgess. Come to find out we both worked at NMH during the same time. In the short time I knew him he was the nicest, caring guy I met at Borgess. He truly cared for his staff, patients, and physicians. He was a true "man" ~ he stood up for what he believed, went to bat for what he thought was wrong, and never compromised who he was. He was a true friend. Karen & family, I cannot express how much I feel for your loss; you will be in my prayers.

Shawn is the definition of "A Good Man". For the short time I worked with him, I truly could tell he loved his family, country, patients and staff. He always put others before himself and was devoted to his profession.

You touched the lives of many Shawn and you will be GREATLY missed!!

I had never met Shawn but talked to him on the phone and he was very good to my daughter Paige, she loved working for him and called him a good friend to her. This is a sad tragedy and my heart goes out to his family. Hold on to all the good memories and may god be with you through this time. RIP

I have worked at the hospital for over 35 years. Everyone knew Shawn. He always had a strong and comforting presence. Such shock and sadness and sympathy for the family and all who loved him. Many prayers for you all!

I had the privilege of working with Shawn this past year. I admired his commitment, empathy, and integrity. I am so sorry for your great loss.
