I just heard the sad news today. I met Shawn eleven years ago when I was employed by the U S Postal System. I noticed the last name on his badge and asked him if he was related to the Statums I grew up with in the Booker T Washington Projects and he said yes. He was a hard working young man, always polite and loved to eat. To say he left this earth too soon is a vast understatement.
