Shawn Sweeney

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Being his friend didn't end when I moved away and he was never more than a call away. I cherish the time we got to see each other after his move to Florida after many years apart. His infectious smile and optimism was always a great addition every time, along with making every adventure that more enjoyable and most likely funnier! I know he will watch over us all until we meet again.

To have this man call you his friend was a privilege. He had a gift of making the most mundane event a memorable time.
One didn't become friends with just Shawn. He never walked alone so if you were on this journey with him it came with a whole lot of company. This sadness will pass and be replaced with smiles every time I think of this guy.

I am so heartfully sorry to hear about Shawn's passing. I was his First Grade teacher and as of late his friend. We would discuss many things about politics and raising children. He was a loving devoted husband ,father, son and brother and I am sure he will be sorely missed. I will always remember Shawn as an astute student with impeccable manners and respect, who was well liked by his classmates and teachers. My deepest sympathies to the family. Shawn and I attended middle school and high school together at St. Joe´s. We shared many good times growing up in Lodi. He was always there for his friends and family and he was an incredible friend to me. So saddened by this news.
