God has another "ANGEL" in heaven to watch over us. It's so hard to believe you are gone and that we won't see each other again. Thank you for always making me feel like family and most importantly thanks for the opportunity to see and be with you the other week. On behalf of the McFarland family, I wish to express my sincere condolences to the Teer and Ward families. Shawn and her family lived a mere few blocks away from where we grew up and got to become friends. Our parents were great parents, spent time together as good friends. I will always have wonderful memories of Shawn's wonderful sense of humor; as kids, she was hilarious with the pranks she would play on my sister, her sister and myself! I was so shocked to hear of Shawn's passing. I saw her picture in the Flint Journal and couldn't believe she had passed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family
