Shea Matthew Harris

Today I found a message on my Facebook memory wall from 9 years ago today. It was Shea letting me know he had resigned with the Riversharks. I had gotten to know Shea well through the Sharks. He participated in an It Gets Better PSA that we did and I would always get a chance to chat with him after games or grab a drink with at the preseason meet and greet. He had a great sense of humor and a great heart. I feel bad that I just now found out about his passing. RIP my friend ~Tom

So very sorry to hear about this. Had the pleasure of interviewing him after he caught the no-hitter for Camden, and he couldn't have been nicer. Thoughts are with his friends and family.

We are so very sorry for the loss of your beloved son Shea. I know the tough journey that you have ahead of you. I remember all the wrestling matches, tournaments and sporting events that we shared with all the kids. Just know that God certainly has already opened his loving arms to welcome Shea home. I got to appreciate Shea while working with him at Glassboro Lumber. He had a really big heart. He would bring food and water in for his coworkers. He also was pretty good at speaking Spanish to some of his coworkers and he would have fun with that. He really was one of the good guys. Sorry to Steve and the Harris family.
