Love Always My Friend

To Shedrick and his loving family. My name is Ernie Pittman. I once again live in Frostproof where we were all friends and teammates. Shedrick was, without a doubt, a gifted athlete. However, he was much moreso a gifted human being. Even as a young man, you could tell he was someone very special...kind, considerate, strong. My very fondest memory of Shedrick, which I have shared with so many people over the years since, was riding on those basketball buses from places like Immokalee and...

To the wonderful beloved Chaney Family, I'm Murray Wilson . , I played Quarterback at Frostproof with Shedrick on the 1st team since 1948 to win more than 5 Football games. We won 8 games our junior year and I fell so blessed that iwas honored to hand the ball off and watch defenders clap at air trying to tackle the greatest Running Back and Football players I ever had the pleasure to play with, But he also was one of the finest Friends that I had the pleasure of knowing and graduating from...

Shedrick was a person our family admired and loved. He was a great athlete - always had that wonderful smile. The Grady Wilson family loved Shedrick. God Bless. Mary Wilson

May the peace of God be with you all in the time of bereavement. Just remember that earth have no sorrow, that Heaven can not cure. With my prayers, blessings on you all.

Great man! Very caring--prayed with my wife when she had kidney and eye problems. A pleasure to work with and always there when I needed his help.

To the Chaney Family:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in the passing of Bro. Chaney.

To Shed's Family,
I played football and basketball with him at Frostproof HS. I also played for the Georgia Bulldogs and i can honestly say that he was one of the best football players I ever played with! He was also a great guy. We used to sing Motown on the basketball bus on those long trips to Moore Haven ,etc. Shed could sing a little too!

Didn't see much of him after we grew up, but I did run into him once in Home Depot. I know from that few minutes that he LOVED HIS LORD...
