Not sure what to say?

Dear Mr. Allard, Steve and Jenny, I am sending each of you warm, caring thoughts on the anniversary of my dear friend, and your mother and wife's passing! How I appreciate her and you, her family! I called Mr. Allard in memory of her passing and thinking of his 90th birthday as well. I gave him a card for his upcoming birthday the last time I visited him. I was blessed to read her obituary again recently. What a wonderful lady, friend and supportive neighbor for over 60 years! I am...

Dear Family, The memories of Mrs. Allard are still treasured in my heart. She and Mr. Allard were wonderful friends and neighbors for over 60 years! Both of them showed their friendship and love many times from"across Sheila's garden!" I still have the flyer out from her memorial service. I love and CARE about each one of you! Sharon Weese

You were an important figure in my childhood. You taught me proper etiquette, table manners, and told me not to care what people think. You guided me in the right direction when I needed it and gave me pointers for a happier life. I will always cherish all the dresses you made me for every holiday. The frog blanket you made me with eyes that glowed in the dark. You took me to plays, museums, and loved to try and get me to...

Dear Friends,

I can't begin to say what it has meant to me and to my family to be your neighbors and friends for more than sixty years! The first joy I remember is when your daughter, Stephanie, was born when you were living in our apartment. I can still almost see Mr. Allard's beaming face! I know both of you were really thrilled!

Many of my visits with you were at your garden where Sheila tenderly nurtured her plants and vegetables. Mr. Allard so carefully made...

Sheila was my cousin. She was one of the few cousins on my Dad’s side of the family that lived close by and though we are 15 years apart in age, she was always so happy to see me and to visit as was I. She and Bill were good in visiting my Mom, her Auth in Pueblo. When I could join them, enjoyed their laughter and conversations. Sheila was always so interested in individuals, in learning more and more about some a variety of topics, loved nature and the great outdoors and was committed to...

Sheila was a dear friend to my mother who began to attend Trinity United Methodist Church when she was 80 years old. Sheila included mother in many gatherings and made mother's move from a small town in Kansas less foreboding. Mother enjoyed Sheila's tales of her childhood ranch life. Shelia was also a welcoming and continuing presence at Trinity. She and mother will greet one another happily in heaven. Linda Day, daughter of Gerry Brown.

What a beautiful and talented woman...her friends and hiking companions will miss her greatly. How I loved her sweet demeanor!

Condolences to Jenny and Sheila's family from the Gelner family.

When Therese and I were publishing the Westside Pioneer newspaper, we always enjoyed the times Sheila would come by to place classified ads for Trinity Church. There was a fun elegance about her, dressed in a quietly stylish way that matched her bright wit and upbeat spirit. Her visits, though relatively brief, felt like more than business transactions and boosted the day for Therese and me.
