Not sure what to say?

I just learned that Dr. Sheila Beyer passed away. She was an incredible Mentor to me during my years at Bunker Hill. I learned so much from her and I will always cherish the wisdom and knowledge I gained from her. May she rest in Peace. Anthony Cavallo

I had the privilege of knowing Mrs. Beyer as her house cleaner and friend. Each day working at her house was also full of wonderful conversation and advice. I still hear her voice saying, "Make sure you can take care of yourself and any children you might have." She encouraged me to see the world and wrote a recommendation for me for graduate school. My condolences to her children and grandchildren.

With her elegance, sharp intelligence, and her brilliant smile, Sheila cut a wide swath in those early, now golden, years of Bunker Hill Community College. She was a memorable colleague. My sympathy to her family.

I was saddened to learn recently that Sheila Beyer had passed away. She was a vibrant woman who touched the lives of many at Bunker Hill Community College where she worked so effectively as Assistant to the President. She was outgoing, sophisticated, experienced in the ways of higher education, and genuinely interested in sharing that experience with those around her. She was a marvelous mentor to me and to many others. She also shared with us her deep love for New England. She told...

I just learned of Sheila's passing. My friendship with Sheila was through our years together at Bunker Hill Community College.

Sheila had tremendous impact at BHCC through her work as Assistant to the President. Sheila's quiet and assuming work style was very effective. She was very willing to allow others to receive credit for the work she did.

I particularly appreciate how Sheila reached out to me as a new employee and provided me the best advice a young administrator could...

Although I hadn't known Sheila long, I was impressed with her poise and grace. A very fine lady. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Worked with Shelia at the Visitor Center. We had many great conversations about education. She was always interested in knowing what was going on in the field. Shelia and her wealth of knowledge will be missed at the Visitor Center.

I had the privilege of meeting Sheila in 2011 to photograph her for a book that pays tribute to the lives of 30 senior Ipswich residents (People and Place: Oral Histories and Portraits of Ipswich Seniors). I arrived at her home with a backdrop and an assistant but had no idea where i was going to photograph her. She was so flexible and accommodating, even allowing for wardrobe changes and many different poses! It was a pleasure. I see her grace in the portraits. I am so honored she is in...

Sheila Beyer was an amazing, inspirational role model. We shared conversations, but never met. We are so sorry that we have missed a memorable opportunity to do so.
