Once a month she would come over and let my Mom have a couple hours to do whatever she needed to do. It was only supposed to last for 6 months but she never stopped being there for my family. Shelia was an amazing volunteer at the Gail Borden Public Library in Elgin Illinois. She was an exhibit docent, a greeter, and a program and special event volunteer. Library staff and patrons will always remember Shelia with great fondness.

Sheila, to me, was the epitome of a fine Christian woman. She was very astute and caring. I have valued her leadership and friendship for many years and consider her one of my most admired mentors.

Sheila was my friend and mentor for many years. We had such a good time together carpooling, laughing, talking and learning about what God would have us do and be.
You are in my heart and prayers.

Sheila was truely a good person. She was our neighbor when we moved to ELGIN. She loved working in her flowers around the house. And enjoyed talking about the government, & solving the worlds problems, talking about her children/ grandchildren.she volunteered working in different locations in Elgin. And loved driving. She never let the grass grow under her feet always going somewhere. She was a true golden girl. And a Christian. We will miss Shelia dearly. We call her Mrs. Shelia but she...
