I remember Ms. King very fondly as my high school art teacher at Miami Coral Park Sr. High, around 1973. I can attest she was indeed passionate about her students.
When she requested volunteers to paint murals at a local home for wayward youth, 3 of my friends and I gladly came forward. We painted Peter Max murals weekends for many weeks. She also invited us to attend an art exhibition where we first saw real art in person, not in an encyclopedia. It was truly an impressive eye...
