Read MoreSheila was a true character, funny, outspoken and honest. Her mother and mine were the closest of sisters, talking in the phone often. Sheila and I were separated by nine years, so, it was much later in life that I got to know her better. Last Summer Anne and I stopped by to visit her on our way back to NJ from vacationing in Cape Cod. She was lively and engaging and insisted I take off her history books when we left.

Meg and family, I am so sorry to hear of Sheila's passing. I had the pleasure of working on some issues with her when she was a member of the Conservation Commission. Her institutional knowledge and love for the Town will be missed.
