Merry Christmas Mom!
I'm starting to think that I'm the only one who isn't busy tonight! Kinda like it that way...Waiting for "A Wonderful Life to come on. I've seen it every year, for as long as I can remember, but always look forward to it. Anyways, Mom, May you have a blessed Christmas!

Hi Mom,
I was thinking about you this morning, and how you liked just a drop of milk in your coffee. I almost always pour too much half/half, and it ends up more like French coffee. On Monday night, there will be a crescent moon, and in close proximity two of our brightest planets, Venus & Jupiter. Should be quite beautiful. Remember how we loved the "crescent moon". B4 I forget, Happy Birthday tomorrow!
Love you Mom!

Hey Mom,
Sad news! The soul singer, you introduced me to, has passed. So unfortunate, such a great talent, and only 65 years of age. I remember, like it was yesterday, you saying "you've gotta listen to this"... It was Issac Hayes singing, "By the time I get to Phoenix".. I said that I've heard it. You said "Not the way he does it"... I listened, and YOU were right! Went right out and bought the "record"... YOU always had so much insight and were totally brilliant, when it came to so many things. Yes, a shining star, that is so very missed and loved!
I love you mom.

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!
While watching a special on PBS yesterday, I thought of you. It was about this historical lighthouse. It think it was called St. George Reef Lighthouse, but can't remember for sure. It was built in late 1800's, 7 miles off shore from Crescent City, which is border of Oregon. What an ocean view from top. They are trying to preserve this old, rugged lighthouse, and gave tour from top to bottom, with hopes of someday making it available for public to visit. Remembering how much you love lighthouses and the ocean, totally reminded me of you!
Love you!

Mom,
Today is your birthday! Sending this birthday wish with lots of love!
Reminds me of when I was a little kid on Ralston Street, it was your birthday, and of course some sort of family celebration was going on But, I was crying, and you took me aside and asked what was wrong. I said through my tears, I wanted to make you a birfday card, but I couldn't say "birfday".. couldn't tell my teacher for fear that someone would hear me trying to pronouce birfday and laugh. I remember you hugging me and saying "oh Theresa" and that you loved me. Something I will never forget. Thank you mom.

Hi Mom,
Felt your presence very strongly, morning of March 12th. Somehow, I know you were here. Lights flickering, as I said "Hi Mom"... in fact, it was that moment that I remembered it was my birthday. Just wanted to say hi, and thank you for stopping by! So funny, everytime I say "you don't have to call me back" - when leaving message for someone, it reminds me of you. You always left messages for me that said, "Hi Terri, it's Mom, You Don't Have to Call Me Back"... Always wondered why you had to say "it's Mom" cause I knew your voice! But, you hardly never left a message without saying that.
Was thinking of you, so I thought I'd drop you a line....
Love,

Grandma,

Not a day goes by that I don't see your beautiful picture on my dresser. One you gave me years ago of you when you were 16, and another of the last time I ever saw you. My graduation. I was, and still am so glad you made it to Joe's that day. I will never forget and I have the picture to look at everyday to make sure I never do.
You're missed my all.Whatever they called you:

Greatgrandma
Mom

Love you!

Hi Mom,
Did not forget your birthday! Remembered when I buying my November b'day cards, and it seemed sad and strange, that I wasn't buying one for you. Didn't get around to having Thanksgiving this year, because I had the "head crud" and was pretty darn sick for a couple of weeks. Somewhat better now "Praise the Lord"...
Anyways, have missed a lot of work, but am back now - so I can send you this birthday wish! Was thinking about you last night, and feeling awful that I didn't have a chance to send this yesterday, but better late, than never, huh? Okay then, HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Hi Mom,

Wanted to wish you a happy Mother's Day! Had to wait till today because I can't get into your "Guest Book" except at work. I Had a very nice day. Went to Johnny's for BBQ last night. He and Susie bought me the cutest "kissing frogs" - actually, they're salt & pepper shakers. Johnny's X, Kim, called yesterday to wish me a Happy Day, she also sent me a card, which was very nice. I didn't just miss you yesterday, I've missed you "EVERY DAY" for a very long time. Even though you aren't here, I feel, that you are. Actually, I know that you are! I feel your presence so strongly at times ... and I feel you "through me", if that makes sense. Well, that's about it for now. I'll check back with you soon!

Love You!

Dear Mom,

It's Mother's Day. Doesn't seem a year since Vicki and I went to your place to celebrate the day. Eve came by and it was so nice.

I'm writing to Thank YOU for so many things, like the private figure skating lessons, hide and seek, (until my 50's), Tootles, the gold watch for making honor roll, the "flying opals," my intro to "True Gypsy," (she proved lucky for us both).

So many things, thanks for your sense of the totally ridiculous, your worry, your love of Frank and Kimi. Maybe most of all, your love of me and forgiveness. I totally loved you too and I know, you knew that. Thanks Mom, I miss you so.

Love,

Hi Mom,

Well I recently celebrated "another" birthday. I thought about you on this day (3/12) and thought this is the first year, ever, that I wouldn't be hearing from you or receiving a call/card from you. I had a really nice birthday, but I want you to know that I miss you.

Dearest Mom,

Doesn't seem that long ago that you turned 80, we went to Joe's of Westlake for lunch, didn't even have to twist your arm. The waiters sang (much to your dismay), however, if you remember correctly, you gave it away by sharing your birthday cards with the waitress.

Frank met us and you loved your diamond necklace and watch. It was a really nice 80th, and the three of us had a wonderful time.

Miss you so much.

I love you,

Lisa
