Read MoreMy sympathies to Sheila's family. We were friends and colleagues some time ago, kept in touch somewhat sporadically, always laughed hard when we got together and enjoyed swapping stories about our nieces and nephews. She was smart, witty and an asset to the city. I will miss her.

The City of New York will be poorer for the loss of Sheila in it's midst. Her dedication to making life a better and more beautiful place to be was surpassed only by her great sense of humor. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
