Not sure what to say?

Michael and Ellen: I had the privilege of teaching with your Mom at Dean Tech early in my career at HPS. She was a fellow English teacher. She taught me much about classroom management and commanding the respect of my students whilst building positive relationships with them. For that, I will be forever grateful to her. It is mentors like her, from my early years of teaching who made me the educator I am today. Her gift lives on.

Always loved Aunt Sheila. She came to visit and my dad really loved his sister. They looked so much alike. Im so sorry for your loss Ellen and Michael. Now she is with your dad. My mom and dad really loved him too. Hopefully they are all reunited. Take care of yourself during this difficult time. We love you. - Molly

I was sad to read of Ms. Miano's passing. She was my 10th grade English teacher, a very kind and caring person and an excellent educator. Wishing her family well, with sympathy.

We are deeply saddened to learn of our wonderful cousin´s passing. Sheila was a warm and welcoming family member who always recalled with joy and love her parents, family aunts and uncles. Her genealogy investigations of our Irish heritage were inspiring to her extended family. Deepest condolences to Michael and Ellen. John Driscoll

I remember Sheila very fondly. I am very sorry, my most sincere condolences,

Michael and Ellen, heartfelt sympathy goes out to you. Your mom was a wonderful person and always had an open house for us youth growing up on the "hill". With sympathy, Dan Larrow
