It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Sheila Renee Moore, 58, of Penngrove. Sheila passed away peacefully on June 11, 2024 surrounded by her family and close friends.

Sheila was born November 26, 1965 to Merrel Rocca Sr. and Alice Davis. Sheila was the youngest of 4 and grew up in Marshall close to Tomales Bay. She attended school grades K-12 in Tomales. She received an Associate Arts Degree at Santa Rosa Junior College and completed the paralegal program at Sonoma State. She then worked as a paralegal for the next 25 years.

Sheila was all about family and taking care of others. While her children were young and at Penngrove Elementary, she volunteered as Classroom Parent, attended field trips and was a part of the PTA. She was also heavily involved in the Innisbrook wrapping paper fundraisers for many years. She loved watching her kids play sports and was always involved as a scorekeeper, a team mom and as the designated snack lady. Sheila loved to cook and bake. Her snicker-doodles and chocolate chip cookies were legendary.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, brother Merrel Rocca Jr., and sister Diane Radabaugh. Sheila leaves behind her husband Larry, son Tyler, and daughter Sarah. Sheila also leaves behind her sister Sandra Racine, cousin Debbie Rocca and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Per Sheila's request there will be no formal services.

Sheila will be deeply missed by all.

Not sure what to say?

I miss you more than you'll ever know. Until we meet again. We were always smiling and laughing, that's just what our family did. We had a lot of good times

Happy Birthday Sheila in Heaven.. May you continue to shine...laugh ...love as you always have. I am missing my childhood friend from Marshall and all the memories at Tomales Elementary/High School. Quite often Sheila, before having a license, would drive to our house in that Pinto ..she was such a stellar driver! Her dad always left her treats before heading out to fish. Most importantly..Sheila never complained. Her outgoing personality was selfless and Sheila was always...

When Sheila decided to retire, I was hired to take her place. She went over all office procedures, patiently and thoroughly, and put together the best instruction binder I have ever seen. We worked together several times and to say she was a delight to work with is an understatement. I quickly became very fond of her. I feel blessed to have known her, and I echo Steve´s comment that she is "a genuinely beautiful person." She is/was a beautiful soul - kind, compassionate, empathetic. I...

Sheila and Steve moved into two offices -- one for each of them -- in my building. I was in an office there too and got to see both of them frequently. I loved having Sheila there and she was a great help for me because she was so good on her computer. I was terrible on mine but I had Sheila to help me!

I miss my dear Sheila every day. I know that she suffered but she was brave and strong through all the pain. Sheila and I became good friends during our time together in the office. I was fortunate enough to have 2023 Christmas Dinner with Sheila and her family. And what a dinner it was because it was cooked by the expert, Sheila. I am so glad I was able to be with Sheila and all the rest. Sarah

Sheila, you are a genuinely beautiful. person. I will miss having you as my "work wife," and me being your "work husband." Love Steve

Sarah, we are sending love and hugs to you and your family xoxo
