Not sure what to say?

Dear Sister Sheila . I have thought of you often and held a place in my heart of admiration for your contribution to humanity. You were an earth angel now gone to guide us from above. I will treasure words we shared

Sister Sheila - you touched our hearts and were a guiding light in our lives. Thank you for being such a loving friend to my mother Elizabeth and father Martin Smit. And for being so loving and caring towards Jessica, Shannon and Erin. You loved Meg and Bella and were so kind to everyone. You will be missed more than you ever would have known Lucille and the Smit family.

Angela Thompson my sister was taught at St Columbas Convent School by Sister Sheila. Sister Mary Lawrence. We all remember Sister with love Sister was also an old pupil of St Columbas Convent School Frankton so many memories of Sister and her family. Love and prayers from Angela Suzanne Jillian and Glennis Thompson all past pupils of St Columbas Convent School Frankton. Blessings.

Sister Mary Lawrence taught me at St Colombia School, Frankton, Hamilton and she was the most amazing Nun.I admire her greatly, she walked around the school always with her sleeves rolled up ready to get stuck into anything.I also remember her going to Vietnam to do some very valuable work with those not so fortunate. She was one of the most wonderful Nuns I got the pleasure to be taught by.With Love Cathryn Lisa Lines (née MCNEIL).Rest in Peace Sister Mary Lawrence.

Sr Mary Lawrence as we remember you - what a brave and generous woman you were devoting your life to helping others and responsible for bringing my orphaned brother Peter to safely in NZ during wartime Vietnam -he remembers you fondly as do we Bernadette and the Culpan family RIP

The Loins clubs of District 202D helped out Sheila when she was in Sammoa and again in Vietnam. She was a allways helping people and I had the great joy of dealing and helping her out over many years. Rest in Peace dear friend

Sorry to hear about that she lead a more than full life from June limmer nee parris and her family

Dearest Sheila, since we first met in Dublin on the occasion of your 60th. birthday, we have been like long lost sisters reunited. Knowing a little about your exploits in Vietnam during the war, it was no surprise to see that you were a strong and determined lady which enabled you to come through many harrowing situations. Your life was solely devoted to helping others and you did this on a loving, selfless way, in the company of your canine friends from whom you could not be separated....
