Sheila and my mom met as next store neighbors on 58th street. They had long conversations over the backyard fence near the rhubarb patch and remained friends. Our families spent wonderful times together.. pajama parties summer nights on the front lawns, backyard ice arenas, endless alley games... She was game for all of it and wonderful to us. .
