The last time I saw your mother was at my son Tylers wedding. I have been thinking of her for quite some time and ran across and old Christmas she had sent. I was cleaning through my desk at work. Her dementia and problems were not something I knew about nor how to contact her. At least one letter was returned for the wrong address. This is difficult news to hear, and grief from death is very real. And yet, it is almost impossible to think of Mrs. Wells without being overcome with a sense of peace and joy. When I was a child, her chocolate milkshakes always came at the right time when we took breaks from playing at her home. My sister remembers she had the best Chocolate Chip cookies of anyone in town.
