Read MoreI met Sheila Beckerman about 25 years ago when we both were teaching at Hamilton High School. She taught algebra and geometry. We also took classes together at the University of Memphis in the Master of Education program. Sheila was highly intelligent and taught her students well. We were agreeable on most subjects, and we got along well. I am sure she is in Heaven now. I will miss her friendship greatly.

I am so sorry to hear about Sheila. I met Sheila over 10 years ago when we were studying for National Boards. We both taught math for MCS. I have had many of her former students at White Station High and I just now found out about her death. I am so sorry to hear she lost her battle with cancer. I just today learned of Sheila's passing. Sad news. I will truly miss her. We became friends working together at the New Teacher Center several years ago. I have find memories of working and traveling with Sheila as well as seeing her at the Orpheum shows. My condolences to her husband, children and extended family.
