Read MoreI remember when a NC country girl showed up at Novato Community Hospital in 1994. Ms. Woods was my Nurse Manager. She made me feel welcome and loved. I hated leaving NCH just because of her. Ms. Sheila always had time to explain and teach. That was my favorite thing about her. She was an awesome lady. She will be missed.

Sheila was my supervisor when I was a young and fairly inexperienced nurse at Novato Community Hospital on Station 3 starting in 1981. She was wonderful mentor, always kindly and generously sharing her experience and knowledge. I have not seen Sheila since sometime in 1996, but I will always remember her. Rest in peace, Sheila! My condolences to her family.

I was in the Novato Red Hat chapter with Sheila for the last 10 years. She always had a smile on her lips and a funny story to tell. Sheila was always friendly and welcoming to everyone who joined us, including me when I arrived. I will miss her enthusiastic spirit and joy. I'm grateful that I had the grace of her friendship.
