Sheila Audrey Yamamoto

Sheila will always have our gratitude and sincerely be missed. She was a great friend to our Mom Dottie from playing on the tennis courts to ensuring that Mom´s emergency hurricane bag was always ready with updated and complete supplies! I miss Sheila. I think of her every day. She was my hero on the tennis court where I met her, when our kids were in the lower school at Iolani. A solid tennis player worth emulating but more importantly the epitome of a good sportswoman and a kind, encouraging friend. Sheila was one of the most positive, optimistic people I have ever met. In times of adversity, which were numerous, she looked at the bright side of things through rose colored glasses. She helped me with many things when I got divorced and was the one of the only people to always complement me on my tennis game, win or lose. I will miss her so very much. Sheila, you are still one of my dearest friends. Thank you for being a huge part of my life.
