My name is Molly McLain. I atteneded Mount Hebron high School,and I was so moved when listening to the story of Shelby and then they announced my name as the winner of the award. She seems like an amazing person and I wish I could have had the pleasure of meeting her. im so sorry for your loss, and so greatful to be the student receiving this wonderful award. Your family and Shelby is, and always will be in my prayers. Words cannot describe how sorry I am.

It's hard to believe a year has passed but Shelby is often in my heart & in my thoughts. She is my angel on my shoulder on my bad days then a guiding light. She will always be loved.

To Ellen, Chuck, Kelsey, and all who made Shelbs the beautiful and kindhearted girl she was-- thank you. She is greatly missed.
