I too was one of Sheldon's missionary companions in the DR and am extremely saddened by his passing. Shocking and saddening as it may be, I am grateful that he was led to contact me and apparently others from the mission before he passed. He was truly a good man and completley selfless in his service. My sympathies to Milka and the children and to the rest of his family. You are in our prayers.

I am sorry for the loss of a good man. I was also a companion of Elder Douglass in the DR. He taught me many things and we worked well together. He had just contacted me last week as well. My sympathies to the family and please let me know if I can help in any way.

I don't know what to say. I just found out about Sheldon's passing away and was completely shocked. I was one of his mission companions and know how nice of a guy he was. He was willing to do anything for anybody. It's sad because I had lost contact with him and just renewed that contact last week. I thought I'd be able to see him at our next mission reunion. I'm sorry for your loss but know that he's in a better place now. My prayers are with you all.

Hna. Milka, I was deeply saddened when Tina Gonzales left me a message that your Sheldon had passed away so sudeenly and unexpedtedly. What a most difficult burden you and your beautiful little family have been called upon to bear. My heart aches for you all. May the Comfortor constantly abide with you and guide you as you face each day.

Our only tie with Sheldon was that his printing company recently printed our wedding annoucements. They were beautiful. We are truly sorry and will be praying for you all. God Bless.

I was completely shocked at the news of Sheldon's passing when I saw the store was closed this afternoon, and I read the note on the door.

I was so thrilled to discover such a talented graphic designer and printer when I moved to Kanab a year ago. He did top quality work on every job I sent him. More importantly he was so patient and generous.

You will be missed, Sheldon.
