Read MoreI am the sister of Peter Azer, Sheldon's close boyhood friend in Dorchester. I have fond memories of the older "boys" in our home, and I remember Sheldon as very inventive at that time. Peter is not well in Florida, but I told him not only of Sheldon's death but of his amazing life! Ive lived in the Rockville-Potomac area for 26 years. My sincere condolences for your loss.

Dear Kaplan Family, Please accept my condolences for the loss of your husband and father. I would like for you to know that my daughters life was saved twice with the use of an EpiPen. Mr. Kaplan's contribution to society will never be forgotten by me or my family.
