Not sure what to say?

To those who were on teams coached by my brother, Mr. O, I still have some copies of the small book he wrote and had printed, "What about the Girls?". If you would like me to mail you one, please contact me at [email protected] . It's hard to believe, this February 1, 2025, will be 15 years since his passing. My wife and I, his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, still miss him greatly. Thank you again for leaving your memories and condolences.

Thank you once more to those who have posted condolences. I received an email from legacy.com on the ninth anniversary of Sheldon's passing and looked once again here. Your thoughts are very much appreciated. He was truly a dedicated teacher and coach, and this, I believe, is what allowed him to make a difference in so many peoples lives. Your comments are testimony to this and mean a great deal to me.

He was a great teacher and a great coach. My condolences to all of his friends and family.

Not only was he one of my most favorite teachers but a good friend later in life before i moved away from the area he used to have me build "star trek" models for his trek collection, it has been bugging me for years to try to find him and say hi and catch up...then i learn this. a great sadness to have to find out this way...not only my (and my mother's and other family members) teacher but a good friend and great guy "set open course Mr.O ahead at warp speed sir"

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr.O's passing. My father and I,helped coach for one of his Soccer teams ,for a year.(Hazelwood Bombers). He was a great Teacher,Coach, and truly one of the nicest guys in the world. My condolances to his Family, friends, former students and former players. He will be greatly missed by all.

Mr. O crossed my mind today so I googgled him so I could find a way to contact to him, but sadly found out that he had passed. He was an amazing teacher, who made a great impact on my life. Thank You Mr.O

Mr. O was my 6th grade teacher. He was a great man and teacher. To this day still love jolly ranchers. He will be missed!

Wow I know its been a year since his passing, but I am just now finding out purely by accident. He was a great teacher and touched many lives. God bless you Mr. O, you will be greatly missed

I was so sad to hear about Mr Orenstein. He was not only my sixth grade teacher, but also the leader of the patrol guard and the magic club at Garrett Elementary. I have such great memories of him that I will cherish forever.
