Sheldon Louis Roy

Fr. Roy married my husband and I 30:years ago!! If I remember correctly, he told me we were his first marriage that he performed. We had a mass at St Frances Cabrini Church. It must have lasted for 2 hours!! Everyone said if anyone is married we were bc it lasted so long ❤ Everything was perfect and we are still married!! My husband and I would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family. We are truly sorry for your loss.

Sheldon Louis Roy was the priest Holy Cross need...I remember him walking up to me on the NSU campus or around Natchitoches just to say Hi. He will be missed.

We, his fellow students from the French language summer immersion teacher's class at Nova Scotia's University Sainte-Anne, are deeply saddened to learn of the loss of our classmate. Father Roy was an awesome priest, gave the most informative homilies from which I learned a lot. He will be missed. He will always be with you in your heart. Take care.
