Not sure what to say?

Shelley was my friend. She defined the word. Selfless love, shared laughter, and the courage to feel deeply while living brightly.

The last year at Westmont we spent together remains a special memory. It was an in between, disconnected time for me and Shelley brought so much fun, hope, and inspiration to those days.

Much love to her forever and to her family in the days to come.

Such a great person I saw each week for years, either @ Lukes or the Y. Shelley was ALWAYS positive. Everyone will miss her. I ALSO WANT TO SAY I WILL MISS SEEING HER ON MY RUNS!

I KNOW SHE IS IN HEAVEN!

Remembering Shelley from camp - she was always overflowing with energy and positivity. Just thinking if her makes me smile. Heaven gained an angel. Praying blessings for her family.
Much love,
Amy (Berg) Delgado

Shelley was a firecracker of joy. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My husband James and I went to Westmont with her. Her dynamic and positive personality will be missed. We are so glad to have hope in Jesius to see her again some day in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. ❤, Toija Fitzgerald

Shelley is a bright and shining soul. We knew her through Luke's and seeing her every Thanksgiving at the Turkey Trot. She was always so friendly and genuinely interested in our lives. So sorry for your loss,

I knew Shelley through DCC. She swam there on a regular basis during the summer. She always had a smile on her face, a pleasant word, conversation if you desired and silence if you preferred. She was such a delightful person, she will be sorely missed. I did so enjoy my talks with her. My condolences to the Cecil family and to all of you who never got to meet Shelley, I am truly sorry. You missed a one in a million.

A couple of years ago I walked into Lukes locker only to be met by someone who knew my name first and last, and was saying it out loud across a crowded room. It was Shelley, and she was gracious enough to gently remind me who she was. Even then in the middle of a retail store she was telling me about going to the State Fair of Texas to pass along to people the only thing in this life that really has any value. The only thing that is truly a free gift, on this earth , but not without cost....

Shelley was the most special person to me for a season of my life; I have missed her since and will miss her evermore. Such a blessing to all who knew her; Heaven has a new star.

What a precious friend and beloved sister in Christ, partner in sharing the gospel - so going to miss Shelley! Her enthusiasm was contagious! She absolutely loved sharing Jesus with others through her super fun, super creative bookmarkers - she had one for every holiday you can think of :) always with a piece of candy attached, usually a "life saver". She couldn't keep this best ever gift to herself of the new life she enjoyed in a personal joyful relationship with the Lord Jesus - she just...
