It broke our hearts but we knew you were ready to spread your wings and start a new life. Shelley....you were my longest and best friend of my life. You accepted and loved me when it felt like nobody else did. I will forever thank God for putting you next to me in 6th grade where I could peek over and watch you draw. You inspired me to pick up a pencil and try it and my life was forever changed. I sat up all night when I heard you were gone thinking of one memory after another. All the school stuff, the art class shenanigans, all the overnights at your moms, how to...

Shelley and I were friends when we were young and also through school. When we were little our parents played cards together and that's how we met. One of my good memories is going to Shelley's house after school and the great powdered sugar donuts her mom made. I'm so sorry for your loss! Rest In Peace ❤

Shelley will be missed by me greatly. She and I would talk about retiring and life after retiring. Just know that she loved her family and her horse, Jennifer. Coming to work today felt off. Knowing that she will not be in her "corner" with the bright lamp pointed at her huge computer screen. She was something- a great something. Now who is going to tell us to "drive safe" everyday as she was leaving to go home? I will think of you often Shelley!
