My deepest sympathies to Shelley's entire family. I knew Shelley from my days in women's division at the federation. She continued the legacy of her parents in many ways including her Lion of Judah commitment. She was a delight to meet with and a shining example of dor l'dor as a Jewish value. If there ever was a true heroine in the battle to end cancer it would have to be Shelley Kay. Her courage and vibrant determination against incredible odds and her deep caring for others in spite of all that she was undergoing will be a shining beacon for future generations.
