Shelley A. Meyer, age 47, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at her home in Sun Prairie. She was born on March 29, 1969 in Madison and was the daughter of Edward and Margaret (Derr) Green. Shelley graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1987. She worked for General Casualty and Royle Publishing. In 1988, Shelley was united in marriage to Jim Lee Meyer. Together they raised a wonderful daughter and son. Shelley's biggest passion in life was spending time with her family, they meant the world to her, making every attempt to attend every event that her grandchildren had. She loved taking her grandchildren out to eat, to parks, and playing games with them. She is survived by her husband Jim Meyer of Sun Prairie; daughter Brittany (Jose) Susunaga of Watertown; son Jacob (Heather Titus) of Marshall; Mother Margaret Green of Waunakee; 3 grandchildren Layla Martin and Nadia and Jordan Susunaga of Watertown; 2 sisters Jennifer (Gilbert) Leal of Oak Park, IL, and Maggie Green of Cottage Hills, IL; nephews Gabriel and Michael Leal; niece Madeline Leal; father-in-law Leonard Meyer of Watertown; She is also survived by many more loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward W. Green; mother-in-law Betty L. Meyer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016, at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt will preside. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass Friday at the Church.
