BROCK, Shelly K. - Of Gaylord, formerly of Flint, age 36, died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Monday, July 16, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Roger Gedcke officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation 11AM-3 and 5-8PM Sunday and 9AM Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Shelly was born in Flint, Michigan on March 30, 1971. She enjoyed attending the Cancer Relay for Life. She was a breast cancer survivor for 3 years. Shelly was very artistic and she loved to draw. Surviving are parents, James and Joyce (Adcock) Brock of Gaylord; sister, Samiaha (Richard) Kerr of Swartz Creek; brother, James II (Diana) Brock of Alba; several nieces and nephews; 1 great-niece and special aunt, Charlotte (Jerry) Brock -Mowl of Grand Blanc.
