Not sure what to say?

To Shelly's family...I will NEVER forget the smiles and laughter. Shelly was a honest, loyal friend. I loved the school house and enjoyed cookouts on the beautiful back porch. Such beauty. The brightest light on those days came from my friends personality. Her strong belief in God radiated from inside to out strengthening all who knew her. She never lectured people ..she lived it and everyone knew...everyone...especially me were better for it.

She was a wonderful person
The Burke family

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family at this most difficult time, although we didn't get to know shelly all that well I know she will surely be missed by all her family and friends. Sending prayers and love.

I met Shelly around 1990. One thing I learned about her over the years was that she really listened to people and actually tried to understand their point of view rather than just try to convince them she was right. Another lasting memory I have about Shelly is the sound of her laughter. She had a loud, genuine, joyous laugh and it always made me smile when I heard it.

There was always a reason to look forward to meetings and committees in the Division of Parole & Community Service central office when I knew that Shelly was going to be there. Her dedication to the job and her humor made each interaction a pleasure. My sympathy to her family, friends and co-workers.

Shelly did not walk up to St. Peter, she raced up in a NASCAR!

So sorry to hear of Shelly's passing. My prayers go out to her family.

I will always remember Shelly with a smile. The first time we meet was about 5+ years prior to Shelly starting work with the State (maybe more). She was one of the most open, funny, loving and kind hearted people I've ever known. Shelly demonstrated a great deal of integrity in her friendships and at work. Shelly always had the courage of her convictions. For those that didn't always agree with her she demonstrated love and nonjudgemental actions and respect while holding firm to her...

Grief is very difficult. May you find peace and comfort in the memories once shared with Shelly.
