Not sure what to say?

If you didn't know Shelly, she appeared kind of gruff, but once you got to know her, she was so thoughtful & kind. I was saddened to hear of her passing. Wonderful lady.

Love and prayers for the family!

Shelly was one of the coworkers at DHS that I admired most. She bent over backwards to help those in need whether clients or workers. Retirees met for lunch monthly prior to covid and Shelly came to our get togethers whenever she felt well enough. I am shocked to hear of her death, and I'm ashamed that I didn't keep in touch. Shelly was one in a million and deserves a star on the humanity walk of fame.

I'm so shocked and saddened by the death of my dear friend. I loved her like a sister and will miss our weekly phone conversations. My sincere condolences to the family.

So sorry to hear about my friend since 2nd grade. Prayers & condolences. Will miss her.

Shelly was a special person to me. During my time I worked with and got to know her at DHS she always strived to help others less fortunate and would go out of her way to ensure justice and appropriate care for them. She was always willing to listen and give support to others no matter what the need was. Her life truly saved others lives and I will for ever be grateful she was a part of mine.
