Shelly Jean (Suggs) Rayford, age 59, of Osceola, AR, passed from this life Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. She was born on May 23, 1964, in Osceola, the to the late Nathaniel and Virgie Suggs. Shelly was of the Baptist faith and was well known for her love of yard sales.
In addition to her parents, Nathaniel and Virgie, Shelly was preceded in death by one daughter, Natalie Rayford, and one sister, Johnnie Lee Williams.
Mrs. Rayford leaves behind eight sisters: Caffie Suggs, Robin Suggs, Renee Suggs, Helen Suggs, and Christina (Guadalupe) Lopez, all of Manila, AR, Tina Marie Suggs and Mildred (Linnie) McLaurin, both of Blytheville, AR, and Mavis (James) Dunkin, of Kentucky; and one nephew: Michael Williams of Olive Branch, MS.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Whiteside Cemetery, in Osceola, AR with Rev. Tony Huffman officiating. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home-Osceola.

I served on the housing authority board with Shelly and she was such a sweet person, always a joy to be around. My thoughts are with her family and friends who will miss her so much.
