Not sure what to say?

To Our Dear, Sweet, Precious Dad, Grand Dad & Friend, We miss you and you will forever be in our hearts. Rest in peace with your bride Deloris and all others who are in Heaven with you. Thank you for being the best Dad we could ever have and for all of the life lesson's you taught us & most off all for bringing us up in a christian family. We love you & mother more than you know!! Lori, Lisa, Shelton III, Savanna and Teddy

We offer our sincere condolences and pray for peace and comfort.
You are a very special family!
Lori, it was very touching to learn of how you selflessly gave a year and a half to be there for your dad. Your mother must have been watching with great pride in how her children responded in time of need.
Wish we could have been there, but please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
May God hold each of you in the palm of his hand.
Sincerely
Russ and Kitty (O"Brien)...

I am so sorry that I was unable to attend Shelly's service. He was a good friend to both my husband and our family and assisted us in purchasing many vehicles. He was a fine Christian man who served on the Board of Deacons with my husband, Hollis Lea. I am 94 years of age now and know that I will be seeing him and Deloris soon.
Mrs. Hollis C. Lea, Jr.

Lori, the following is the poem that was written by sister Cheryl.

Condolences to the Colson Family
Condolences to the Colson Family
by: Cheryl Huber

It's never easy saying goodbye.
I would tell you as I wiped your eye.
If I could only be there to ease your pain,
but alass I am not there for you.

86 years seems like alot, until you reach the end.
We could say he lived a long life and pretend
That 86 years was enough but...

Dear Lori:

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. My Father, Jack Floyd, was your Father's roomate in Memorial Hospital recently. While I know your Dad lived a full life and was ready for Heaven, my heart goes out to you and your family for your loss. You and your Father have been in and will remain in our prayers since the day we met you. You both touched our lives deeply. If I can do anything to help you in your time of sorrow, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Mr Colson was a true gentleman and loved to share his faith. He was always upbeat and excited about life. I always enjoyed a visit with him. He and Mrs Colson were great parents and raised loving and devoted children. When I look at those who have crossed our paths in life, he was truly one of the great ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with the children.

Lori and Family,

Your dad was always a Godly influence in my life growing up. The man I am today is because of the seeds he...and your mom...sowed into my life. Remember, MOURNINGS on earth are only temporay, but MORNINGS in Heaven are eternal. You will see him again in the MORNING. My prayers are with you all.
