Not sure what to say?

I first met Mr. Shaff back when I was a kid working at Seaboard Foods and Jersey Coast Egg Producers. Although I only met Mr. Shaff in person a handful of times, I spoke with him several times a week for the past 30 years. He became a dear friend.

I already miss his calling me "Miss America" or "Baby Doll" and asking about my daughter, Kaitie. He referred to her as his "pin-up girl". I know he had pet names for everyone, but mine were still very special to me.

dear eva, ilene, dede, betsy, kathy and the entire family.
may the joy of shep's life be constant in your heart and mind, as it will be in mine. he was, one good egg..
with sympathy, stuart goldblatt

To Dede and her family, we send our condolences and our hope that the memory of your husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather will be kept alive and glowing through your love.

Shep was a legend in the egg business. His knowledge of the people and sales opportunities were legendary and he'll be missed by his many friends. He was truly one of the last egg brokers in the United States.

We met nearly 15 years ago for business and became very fond of Mr. and Mrs. Shaff. Shep Shaff was a good business man and great friend. We shared a lot over the years including pictures of my little guy Max, and stories about life, love, and family.

I know he was very proud of his girls. He spoke of them often.

He will be sadly missed.

With love,
Guy and Laurie Runyon
