Dear Brown Family:

It is with deepest sadness that I extend my condolences to you on the loss of your beloved.

As Chair of the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations, I am sincerely thankful for his valiant service and dedication to our great country.

May the love and the wonderful memories you shared with him help you when you need it most. He will never be forgotten, and your family will be remembered in my prayers.

I remember Mr. Brown making possible the only Neville family reunion ever held in Mississippi. He will be long remembered. It seems like I was just talking to him a short while ago when I was surprised that he answered his own line at the bank. He was most gracious and helpful though we had only met once before.

During this time of mourning, I would like to express my sincere condolence at the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in persistent prayers, as “the peace of God that excels all thought will guard your heart and your mental powers.” [Phil. 4:7] I certainly hope that the help God can give at this time will make a difference.

May God guide and direct the family during this time. Mr. Brown was a wonderful man, always had a smile on his face. I remember he always came to the cafeteria for Winney and Wilma's donut pudding. It is a pleasure to be a part of the Extraco family.
