HENSON, Sheri S. Flint Age 56, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at University Hospitals-Ann Arbor. Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at The Crossings-Durand Free Methodist Church, 708 South Oak Street, Durand, Reverend Lisa Lahring officiating. Cremation has taken place. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Visitation 2 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the church. Sheri was born in Flint, Michigan on December 31, 1959, the daughter of the late Lenard and Shirley (Powers) Henson. She loved antiquing, camping, gardening, sewing, quilting, embroidering and loved spending time with her family. Her grandson meant the world to her. Surviving are loving daughter, Rachal Murphy (Alex Campbell); precious grandson, Trystan "Pete"; sister, Angie (Henson) Myers; brothers, Rich and Rob Henson; aunt, Mary Walker and uncle, De Henson; many nieces and nephews; boyfriend, Scott Wheeler. I just saw this and I was shocked to learn of Sheri's passing. Angie, I have thought of all of you over the years and remember my time in Michigan very fondly. I'm so sorry for your loss, God Bless.
