Not sure what to say?

Oh dear... I just now discovered Dr Ames has passed, & I am in tears ... what a fine person he was! I met the Ames's thru daughter Abbe back in 1970, & their house was always a welcoming, cozy, lighthearted place to be. Dr Ames subsequently became vet for my next 2 dogs; He was a witty man with a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor, & I'll forever take pleasure in my memories of him & the entire Ames family. Rest In Peace, Good Doctor.

I remember my old neighbor on Farmersville Road, Clarence Miller, telling me that Doc Ames' father had a beautiful stone farmhouse on the exact spot where the RT 22 &33 clover leaf is situated. Clarence told me about how nice the family was and how the old farm was a showplace. Rest in Peace Doc.

our thoughts and prayers to the Ames family. Doc Ames was our vet for many years. He was such a good man. Wayne and Linda Nixon.

Gonna miss you Doctor Ames. I truly believe I adopted some of your character growing up with Warren and Don (thats a good thing!). I will cherish your memories always.

Dear Mrs. Ames and family,
We are so sorry to hear of "Doc's" passing. When he would
come to the farm to tend to our dairy herd, he would always have a story to tell about his hunting trips or talk about his children and their activities and accomplishments with so much pride. He was admired by our entire family. We were so blessed to have him in our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
