SHERMAN E. ANDERSON III

Sherm and I had fun together in school & out of school; great memories forever.

I went to high school with Sherm ....hadn't seen him for since then but finally did a couple yrs ago..... he still looked like the same Sherm to me.... RIP Sherm...

I knew Sherm for over 3o years and not surprisingly we met at a shuffleboard table. Sherm and I were partners in many a game over the years. Sherm had a wonderful sense of humor and was alwayspatient when giving me shooting tips. At his best, Sherm was the best shuffleboard player in the valley. He worked with softball teams earlier in his life carrying on the tradition from his dad. I will miss his wit and humor and the surprise bags of goodies he would leave on my doorstep. There was...

Haven't seen Sherm for several years but will pray for him and his family. Really a great guy and will be missed by the shuffleboard community.

I can not express how saddened we are. We met Sherman in Williston, North Dakota. He was a great friend, he had a wonderful sense of humor. I will miss all the clippings he sent me through the mail from the papers he read. He enjoyed my stories I wrote and always asked for more. He would joke and say I would know when he passed as he was going to send his ashes back to me and have them spred out at a country church. We will miss him. Les and Nancy Beard Williston, N.D.

Sherman was my friend and pal for many years. He sure had a keen wit, and he might have been the best shuffleboard player in the valley in his time - which says a lot. We took a Greyhound to Vegas together many years ago, and those 64 hours on the bus gave us both plenty to talk about for months. I and all his shuffleboard buddies in the valley will truly miss him.

Sherm was a friend of the family for years. He also painted my house exactly the way I wanted without any criticism and it was beautiful! I know that Mom and him are together again telling jokes and laughing together. Rest in Peace Sherm, you will be remembered by so many. Prayers and thoughts for your family and friends.

To the family of Sherman Anderson -
I am the daughter of his father Sherman's cousin Roy Anderson of Conway and we would like to send our condolences on Dad's behalf. Dad told me he took Sherm III (dad called him "Shawnie") up in his airplane from Barker's airfield when he was a little boy and that he (Roy) played a lot of baseball with Shawnie's dad. . . . back in the 1920s and '30s, if I remember correctly.
