Not sure what to say?

Velvet, I am so sorry about your loss. I, too, worked with Sherman at Malone & Hyde and enjoyed his sense of humor. Even after leaving the company, whenever I would see you and Sherman it was if time had not passed. Sherman was a very caring individual and he will be truly missed. May God bring you comfort in this difficult time.

Dear Velvet,
I was so sorry to read about Sherman's death in the paper Sunday. Sherman came to the City of Roanoke to see me about some of the accounts he handled regarding Meals Tax. He was so nice and kind. I loved to hear him laugh. My thoughs and prayers are with you and the family. May God's peace that passes all understanding flow through you. May God comfort you and may His grace and mercy be with you in the days to come. Gerri Rorer

Velvet, So sorry to hear of Sherman's passing. He was very kind to call after my dad passed away last year, I had not seen him in over 25 years. We went to high school together and I was so pleased to finally see him while I was home last Christmas. You and the Cable family will be in my thoughts and kindest regards.

Velvet,
We just wanted to let you know how much the staff at Child Protect truly enjoyed Sherman and looked forward to his visits with us. We are so sorry we were not able to attend the service yesterday and pay our respects. We are praying diligently for you during this time.

I am very sorry to hear of Shermans passing. I too worked at Malone and Hyde many years ago with Sherman and enjoyed working with him very much. He was always happy I will never forget his laugh. I recently heard of someone who came in contact with him after all these years and was glad to hear how well he was doing only to learn that a couple days later he died. I was shocked. I am sorry and hope you can take comfort in the scriptures at Rev. 21:1-3 where death will be no more.

Velvet:

I was so saddened to hear about Sherman's passing. I worked with Sherman at Malone and Hyde many years ago and I believe you both know my sister, Julia Ball.

Sherman was such a warm and caring person, and brought alot of laughter to an otherwise boring day. Please let us know if we can do anything to help you.

Velvet,
I am so sorry for your loss. Sherman was a good man who helped me understand many things during our long conversations about CASE and accounting. I will miss his smile and corny jokes, as I am sure you will. May God hold you in his arms though this difficult time.

Dear Velvet,
We are so saddened to hear about Sherman. He was one of a kind and a pleasure to work with. We will miss him. You are in our prayers.
