Dear Myra, family and friends,
I met Shep back in 2002 after being in a car accident that brought me to his firm. I was told I needed to meet the big honcho before they took the case. (of course we all knew who that was). The accident I could have done without, but the friendship I could not. I worked with Shep the next 13 years on weekends, and some holiday's too. I worked holidays because as Shep would say there not my holidays. I truly relished our friendship over the years. He always...

Shep was a true spirit, always creative. I never knew him to feel defeated, he could always think of the next step to win the day. Shep´s sense of humor was infective - he never failed to make me smile and laugh. I unabashedly borrowed many of his jokes. There is so much about Shep that remains - he was an exceptional friend!

May his memory always be a blessing to you all.

Shep will be truly missed. He was such a spirited gentleman with a kindly heart. I was honored to have been taken under his wing and touched that he always remembered me, even after he moved out of the Springfield area. My heartfelt condolences to Mira and the family.

I'm so saddened to hear of Shep's passing. He was a wonderful man and mentor to many. He will surely be missed. My heart goes out to all family members, especially to Mira who I know will miss him dearly along with the rest of us.
