I knew Sherman as we both worked at a local coffee company years ago, but I had not seen him since 1989. Sherman will always be remembered by me for his attributes of being kind, calm, respectful and humorous. When I think of Sherman I always think about all of our interactions and that they were all good and pleasant and intertwined with some really good laughter.
