Sherman Aaron Meyer III

I worked with Sherm in the early 1980s at KCNR. He was a competent, veteran broadcaster with a great sound. I had only been in the business a few years and Sherm taught me so much about the business. One of my favorite mementos from those years is a tape of Sherm announcing the birth of my son on the air. He was a wonderful colleague and mentor.

First met Sherm learning what I needed to fill-in for him (while on vacation) in the mid-80s at KCNR to do morning News. He was kind and helpful. Our paths did not cross again until sometime after 2001...when I became a part-time staff member at the Reserve, and Sherm & Jayne joined as members.
