Sam, Sid and Lisa,
They don't make guys like your Dad anymore, I think back ofton to the times we would hang out at the store and he would grab me with those big arms and squeeze me until my bones would crack, I never enjoyed the pain so much. Or the times down at your house on Sundays playing basketball and eating steak before we would head over to the Starlight drive in and drink a few buds. Sherman always made all of us young boys feel like we where one of his kids, even when we...

Sam and Sid I am so sorry to hear about Sherm. Sherm was always a good friend to me as well as being a loyal customer for years. I always enjoyed coming to Blacksburg every week and spending time with Sherm. We have not kept in touch as much since I have been in Florida. I have thought him often. SHERM WAS A GOOD MAN.

Sherman gave me the benifet of the doubt when I was young and broke, when I was doing good, and when I was out of work. He never let me down and I never let him down, and I appricated it. Thanks

David, Sam, Sid & Lisa,
You all are in our prayers... and I put you on our Sunday School pray list this morning. I stated that Sherman was more of an Uncle than a cousin to me. I will always cherish the memories of the times we went on vaction; or the ever fun times of putting up hay like when we was just 15 and he got made because we had gotten in the Miller before the job was done.
I regret I can not be there with you this week, but know that Rhonda, Leann, Logan and I will...
