Sherry McGuire Atkinson, 54, of 119 Brumley Road, Knotts Island, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Knotts Island United Methodist Church. Twiford's Funeral Home, Elizabeth City, is in charge of arrangements.
