Sherry reached out to me immediately when I became involved with FORCE three years ago. We kept in touch over the phone and via e-mail weekly with jokes and ribald stories. I grew to love someone that i never met in the flesh. This world will be a sadder place but no doubt there will be one brighter star in the heavens. Marcia Petersen

What a lucky woman I am to have had Sherry as such a very dear friend. I met Sherry through an online support group many years ago, and it blossomed into an incredible friendship and extended sisterhood. I was so lucky we had many opportunities to get together in person.

My condolences to you, her family, and friends. I knew Sherry only through her posts on ovca.net. May you be comforted by the peace and joy she brought to many and that she is now enjoying with Jan.

Sherry will be most dearly missed. We had a lovely afternoon tea in SF in September. Her wisdom and warmth will always be remembered. She has been a terrific guide to me and my Mother after we all met years ago at the Revlon Run Walk in CA. Miss you lots!!! CAS

I never knew Sherry andI wish I could have met her. She was a wonderful woman who fought her disease with all her heat. Sherry's fight against ovarian cancer will never be forgotten. I will honor Sherry and my mom by continuing to see that Ovarian Cancer is cured in my life time. May God bless Sherry with peace and joy while she is in heaven. She will be missed

We were so close to meeting, I am so sad that my own OVCA treatment interferred. You fought for over a decade and were a model to me. I am so glad you were with family when you passed and now are reunited with your husband.
